The stainless steel door handles of Intersteel are made of an alloy of mainly iron, chromium, nickel and carbon. In order to speak of stainless steel, a minimum of 11% to 12% chromium and a maximum of 1.2% carbon is required. At Intersteel we have two types of stainless steel: AISI 304 or AISI 316. AISI 316 is regularly applied on exterior door fittings, because it is less sensitive to fly rust. Stainless steel is best maintained with a stainless steel cleaner.
